Breakfast, a meal to really get your teeth into

It’s the most important meal of the day, as the saying has long said, but we still so often race through breakfast with one eye on our watch, a foot half-way out the door and our minds somewhere else entirely. Poor breakfast, so often under-appreciated and overlooked, and yet there’s no better way of getting your day off to a magnificent start, particularly if you choose to breakfast at Malis where a wide choice is combined with the freshest, most delicious flavours, and truly exceptional value for money.

Malis Breakfast Menu takes you on a delicious journey through Cambodia’s rich noodle soups, nourishing congees, tasty short rice noodle dishes, and the classic rice with pork, chicken or beef with pickled vegetables. Then there is the standard-bearer of Cambodian cuisine, Num Banh Chok, with fresh rice noodles with river fish in a mild curry-soup flavoured with lemongrass and green kroeung spices. Eggheads are catered for too, with a selection of super-fresh fried, poached, scrambled or boiled eggs, or an omelette, all done exactly as you like them.

We expect deliciousness, sophistication and style at Malis though. It’s just a normal part of the package. What may surprise many who haven’t tried it yet though, is just what great value our breakfasts are. Prices start at $2.20 for a rich, filling and fulfilling breakfast, and even a generous, delicious beef stew noodle soup is just $4.20. Roll the dishes up into one of our set menus, and you can start your day with, for example, a juice, tea and coffee, prawn noodle soup and Cambodian dessert, for only $8. We really can’t think of any other way that we’d like to start our day.

Drop by to say “arun sua s’dei”, and we’ll see you there. And if you don’t want us to say hello before the second coffee, we’ll completely understand.
