The lounge concept is simple: this is an elegant, high-end space in which to chill out, enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif, or perhaps sample one of our splendid cocktails before a night on the town.
As the music from our live musicians and DJs plays, settle back into Chhatra Lounge’s comfy chairs while nibbling on one of the small bites on offer from the open buffet all underneath the protection of the Chhatra Lounge’s masterpiece chandeliers.
Designed by our own general manager, Sao Moun Daung, these stunning inverted parasols represent one of the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism, whose role is to cast a shadow of protection over those beneath. So you can rest easy, knowing that our team will be taking care of everything for your evening.
The Chhatra Lounge Happy Hour runs from 6pm to 8pm, all the better to enjoy one of our splendid cocktails, from which we can heartily recommend our signature cocktails. There are many to choose from, so why not start off with a Malis Sweet & Sour, designed by our Taing Lundy and inspired by real Cambodian recipes, this heady mix blends rum with lemongrass, kaffir lime, basil, palm sugar, tamarind sauce and soda to create a delicious mojito like no other you’ve had before.
