Perhaps you prefer something a little smoky, intense, vibrant or creamy. Or why not splash out and try a mellow, fruity combination. When it comes to cocktails, the choices can be bewildering. This is one of the reasons why at Malis, you’ll find a wide selection of the classic cocktails so that you can easily get your hands on your favourite timeless tipple. But we also know that sometimes people like to try something a little different too, which is why we’ve personally crafted a small selection of cocktails inspired by some of the delicious ingredients in our own kitchens.
Going through some of the classics for those who are not completely sure what they might like, the first question to look at would be whether you like sweet or bitter flavours. If the former, you could be looking for something like a Whiskey Sour or a Mojito, or Singapore Sling. If you want to dial down the sugar high, then a Daiquiri is the one for you. But if sweetness doesn’t ring your bells at all, then you could ask for a Negroni or Martini. But perhaps you like a little more refreshing sourness to balance out the sweetness, then you might certainly think about a Margarita or Singapore Sling. If you prefer dry drinks, where you can really feel the alcohol burn, check out one of our White Russians, or show them how real sophisticates do it, with a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned.
We’re very proud though of our in-house selection of cocktails inspired by the flavours of Cambodia, some of which are simply perfect for blending with a wide range of spirits. You’ll find the zing of ginger really brings a Mojito to life, especially when mixed with Sra Takeo rather than the traditional rum. But we also make our Mojitos with passion fruit, pineapple or kaffir lime. Ginger and galangal also give a sharp bite to the Malis Stir Fried, a delicious combination based on vodka mixed with holy basil, lime and apple juice.
For those who like a little more mellow sweetness, dive into a Mangorita, a compelling mix of tequila, mango, chilli and lime juice, or maybe inflame your passions with a Passion Paradise, a mix of vodka, Cointreau, passion fruit, mango juice and grenadine.

But some prefer a distinctively more sour touch, and for them we have the Lemongrass Martini — lemongrass liqueur, midori and lime juice — or a Malis Sweet & Sour, made with rum, lemongrass, kaffir lime, holy basil, palm sugar, tamarind sauce and soda.
And finally, for those who prefer a little extra spice in their life, we finally have the Malis Curry, a heady, creamy mix of gin, pineapple juice, star anise, cinnamon and coconut milk.
The choice is yours. Choul-moi!!!
