This June, Malis is taking part in ITE Hong Kong 2018, the first time that Cambodian companies have represented themselves, and by extension Cambodia, at this prestigious and high-profile trade event. We are proud that Luu Meng and Malis director Loumpheany Preap will join the Ministry as representatives of Malis restaurants, as a reference restaurant for the Kingdom.
ITE Hong Kong brings together the 32nd International Travel Expo and the 32nd ITE MICE over three days of exhibitions, presentations, seminars, meetings and more, all geared towards those serving the affluent travel market. Exhibitors will have a unique opportunity to connect with the travel trade from Hong Kong and China — the world’s largest source market — MICE facilitators, corporations for trade promotions and channel sale, and affluent independent travelers in one stop.
Last year, almost 650 exhibitors from 56 countries joined this enormous event, putting them in contact with almost 12,500 trade visitors from Hong Kong and China and 90,000 public visitors.
The Expo will focus on a wide range of themes, including adventure travel, cruises, ecotourism, honeymoons and weddings, culture and history, sports, travel photography, wellness, and food and wine, all of which hold potentials for Cambodia. This is a tremendous opportunity to showcase Cambodian cuisine and hospitality before one of the most important audiences in the world, and to make connections with others in order to expand the unlimited appeal of the Kingdom of Wonders.
